  Dr. Mardini is a plastic surgeon from Washington, DC who after serving a fellowship with Dr. Wei in Taiwan is a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota and Director Face Transplant and Surgical Director, Essam and Dalal Obaid Center for Reconstructive Transplant Surgery
